Available Positions

Senior Broker

The Senior Broker will be responsible for developing a multifamily and other investment brokerage business in the Chicago and near-suburban markets, and supervising associates  and other brokers. The Senior Broker will be expected to generate and secure 2-4 listings per month, increase the current client pipeline for multifamily and other investment properties and work in a team both selling Senior Broker’s listings and listings of other brokers in the office. Desired applicants will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree at minimum
  • An Illinois Real Estate Sales License
  • At least 3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate with a proven track record in brokerage
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and be an aggressive self-starter
  • Strong people skills
  • Enthusiasm for the sales process
  • Knowledge of financial analysis
  • Robust organizational skills

Compensation is commission based, where potential earnings are limitless. A successful broker at Interra can earn in excess of $500,000 annually. Brokers at Interra enjoy commission potential, which exceeds other similar brokerage operations due to Interra’s above standard commission split.

Investment Sales Associate

Primary responsibilities of the Investment Sales Associate include performing valuation analysis of investment properties, analyzing financial statements, marketing, business development and database management with significant contact with clients. Excellent phone skills are required.

This position is for a business-minded, entrepreneurial person, who is excited about the prospect of learning how commercial real estate is valued, financed, transacted, and bought and sold. Candidates should:

  • Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing or a related field
  • Understand cash flow analysis and financial reporting
  • Be detail oriented and well organized
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Be personable and able to work in a sales-motivated environment

In addition, an Illinois Real Estate Sales License will be required, which may be obtained following job acceptance. Compensation is base pay plus commission, and the Associate will report directly to the Managing Principals and Managing Partners of the company.
