After unsuccessful attempts to sell the building from other brokerage firms during the past few years, Interra Realty was hired to represent the seller in the sale of 900 S. Western Ave. As an added challenge, the seller was ready to put the property up for sale in the middle of the pandemic. Interra brokers Jeremy Morton & Ted Stratman successfully navigated the pandemic to properly market and sell 900 S. Western Ave., even with 20% of the building represented by retail tenants (2 of 10 units). One of the retail spaces was vacant at the time of the sale.

The buyer saw opportunity in leveraging the appreciating location and street front retail location for a future retail tenant at a strong rent, while also modernizing the residential units in the future to bring to market rental rates.
