Chicago, IL – Interra Realty’s Managing Partner Lucas Fryman was recently featured in the November/December issue of Midwest Multifamily & Affordable Housing Business in a roundtable discussion titled “Investors Take ‘Refuge’ in Multifamily Space,” along with several other area brokers.

Fryman outlined Interra’s growth during the pandemic as well as explained how the Chicago market has fared when compared to other markets around the country.

“Compared with the Sun Belt, which is experiencing rapid population growth and rising prices, and New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, which remain extremely expensive, Chicago continues to deliver the higher yields investors seek,” Fryman says. “With inflation top of mind and real estate often seen as a hedge against inflation, investors are taking refuge in the space.”
