CHICAGO, IL – A local investor paid $23 million for an apartment building in downtown Mount Prospect in a deal that’s part of a wave of heightened interest in the sector. Wheeling-based Anemone Real Estate bought the six-story, 71-unit 20West apartment building, located at 20 W. Northwest Highway, from Wingspan Development Group for $323,943 per unit, brokerage Interra Realty announced.
