RE Journals: Chicago’s Interra Realty Makes Key Promotions, New Hires

CHICAGO, IL – Chicago’s Interra Realty promoted Paul Waterloo to the role of managing partner and Harrison Pinkus to the role of managing director. To support the firm’s continued growth, Interra has also hired Joe Braun as a director and Andrew Stassi as an associate.

Since joining the company in 2017, Waterloo has participated in numerous middle-market multifamily transactions. His most recent deals include the $8.4 million sale of an 18-unit, new-construction property in Wheaton, Ill., and the $7.77 million sale of an 84-unit multifamily property in Waukegan, Ill.

Before joining Interra, Waterloo was a sales executive with ADP. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.

Pinkus has brokered or assisted with multiple middle-market multifamily transactions since joining Interra in 2018. Among his most recent deals are the $1.14 million sale of a five-unit vintage apartment building in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood and the $2.34 million sale of an eight-unit turnkey asset in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.

Prior to joining Interra, Pinkus had roles with Groupon, Spring Rewards, Victory Lap and Colliers International. A licensed real estate broker in Illinois, Pinkus graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science in political science.
